| President's Report 2010 |
Welcome to a new decade and the 55th year of the McDonough Foundation. We embark with more energy, more hopes, and more commitments to our students in offering financial support in these difficult times. Obviously, without you, we would not be able to continue the goal of raising money to help students and employees of New Hampshire golf clubs as they further their education. In these economic times, the task has become more challenging. Nevertheless, for the academic year 2009-10, The McDonough Scholarship Foundation was able to award 108 college students attending colleges and universities, not only throughout New England, but virtually nation wide. The financial support awarded totaled $86,600.

| McDonough Scholarship Application Available |
Scholarships are available to any student employee, male or female, of a New Hampshire golf course or club. Candidates should demonstrate promise of academic success, as well as require financial assistance. Once awarded, a McDonough Scholarship may be renewed each year for a total of four years. Annual grants are renewable depending upon annual maintenance of academic standards and the continued need for financial aid. All candidates must be recommended by the golf club where they have been employed for a minimum of two seasons. Applications are due by May 15, and may be obtained by writing to:
